Works great in a pre-facelift Insignia. Looks almost stock, the steering wheel and original radio buttons work without any configuration required. The 4+64 GB version is very responsive, works without any lag.
Few things that need pointing out:
- there is no microSD card slot. The plastic does have a cutout for the card, but it's permanently sealed (they must've used the same plastic from an older version of the unit) and the unit itself does not have a microSD card input
- it is possible to retain the functionality of the original USB port - you need to get a separate mini-USB cable (they only cost a few quid), route it beneath the armrest and connect it to one of the USB inputs on the unit. The other end plugs directly into the car's original USB port.
